In 2022 the theme of the TC White Conference was on Medicine in Dentistry.

These recordings cover a wide range of medical topics relevant to current dental practice including oncology, cardiology, internal medicine, aging population and psychiatric illness.

To provide an overview and update on some of the major medical issues affecting dental treatment 

Learning objectives

At the end of the conference delegates will

• Recognise the common medical issues affecting dental patients
• Be able to evaluate information provided by patients and their carers with regard to a patient's medical conditions
• Be able to apply the knowledge gained through the conference presentations to the provision of safe dental care
• Discuss how a patient's experience of medical issues such as cancer and addiction can impact on how dental care is provided
