The Ben Walton Trust was established in 1996 and commemorates Ben Walton and his year-long fight against oral cancer. The aim of the trust is to raise awareness of the disease amongst the general public and health professionals. 

An Agnostics Guide to Oral Cancers is presented by Professor Paul Speight, who is Professor Emeritus in Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology at the School of Clinical Dentistry, University of Sheffield. He is a diagnostic histopathologist with special expertise in oral cancer and salivary gland tumours. In the field of oral cancer research, Paul has focused on mechanisms of tumour invasion and progression, and on biomarkers for prognosis and diagnosis.
