Now more than ever, it is important for dentists to address wellbeing and emotional health issues and to ensure that they are aware of the support that is available. We invite undergraduate students from all corners of the UK to join us for an interactive evening focused on this topic, with ample opportunity for you to ask our panel your questions.
FREE WEBINAR Now more than ever, it is important for dentists to address wellbeing and emotional health issues and to ensure that they are aware of the support that is available. We invite undergraduate students from all corners of the UK to join us for an interactive evening focused on this topic, with ample opportunity for you to ask our panel your questions. Aims The event will be delivered through a webinar format, using relevant experts in support and wellbeing, as well as representatives of from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, to highlight challenges around wellbeing, with particular relevance to the current pandemic, and strategies through which emotional health can be maintained. College will highlight the benefits of membership, and ways in which members can be supported both personally and academically.

What are the challenges for young dentists
This will be a panel discussion from representatives from the RCPSG Dental Trainees’ Committee to discuss the challenges they face in relation to their wellbeing during their training.
Dentists Health Support Trust
Our speaker Rory O’Connor will discuss the support available via the trust to student dentists to look after their wellbeing.
Looking after your own wellbeing, and looking out for others
Marukh Khwaja, founder and CEO of Mind Ninja; a well-being start up providing resilience and mental health training to dental and healthcare professionals, will be speaking regarding looking after mental health wellbeing throughout your Dental training.
COVID 19 – managing current challenges, and looking ahead
Our speaker will discuss the impact of Covid-19 on the Dental profession and what the outlook is in the near future for Dental Trainees’.
Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow Membership We will discuss how to join our College and membership types.
Virtual Tour of College highlighting history and tradition
Our heritage department will provide a virtual tour of the college with commentary to highlight the building and history of the College as well as the wellbeing facilities and support available within the College.
