Dental care professionals may identify individuals at risk of harm and have a duty to report concerns. In this webinar, Helen Patterson, Consultant in Special Care Dentistry in Greater Glasgow and Clyde, will present on the definition of an adult at risk. Types and signs of abuse will be described as well as legislation pertaining to healthcare professionals’ duty to report concerns and co-operate with authorities investigating potential abuse.
