Enhance your skills in the evaluation and management of patients. Build knowledge, skills and safe behaviour when treating Emergency ENT conditions in patients who present to primary or secondary care.
Overview
The ENT Emergency Skills for Trainees course aims to increase the confidence and knowledge in trainee medical professionals who are involved with ENT pathologies on a regular or infrequent basis. Specifically, it will provide an overview of common Emergency ENT conditions in patients who present to primary or secondary care.
The hands-on, practical teaching will have a high faculty-to-learner ratio, in a learning environment that’s both structured as well as informal and relaxed. It will teach strategies for the evaluation and management of these patients, building knowledge, skills and safe behaviour. It will increase confidence and give a foundation upon which medical professionals can increase their experience in the clinical environment.
The ENT Emergency Skills for Trainees course will be of interest to:
Core Medical and Surgical Trainees
Foundation year medical and surgical Trainees
Furthermore, this course maps to curriculum competencies in the Foundation Programme, Core Medical and Surgical Training, Emergency Medicine, General Practice and Paediatrics.
