Overview

Faculty of Travel Medicine Annual Conference: Travel Back to the Future

We invite you to the Annual Conference of the Faculty of Travel Medicine, where we will travel back in time to cover the latest in travel medicine. Hear all about emerging diseases such as measles, mpox, and the lash, vaccine hesitancy, moral injury, and ayahuasca.

This one-day in person and online conference offers 5 CPD points and will appeal to all those involved in the delivery of travel medicine, from students to academics across our multidisciplinary specialty.

The Annual General Meeting will take place immediately following the conference.

Who should attend?

The Faculty of Travel Medicine Annual Conference will appeal to doctors, nurses and pharmacists who specialise in or have a strong interest in travel medicine.

Sessions will include:

  • Moral injury in travel and expedition
  • Vaccine hesitancy
  • Traveller’s diarrhoea
  • Ayahuasca: The good, the bad and the ugly
  • Livingstone lecture

Join us at the College or remotely

We are delighted to offer our annual travel medicine conference again in a hybrid format. You can join us at the College to meet with speakers, chairs and colleagues, or, if you are unable to make it to Glasgow for the conference, you can join us online.

Those joining the conference at the College in Glasgow will benefit from the comfortable and modern conference facilities at the College, the chance to meet and network with other delegates in person, plus a complimentary lunch and refreshments. Everyone at the conference, attending both online and in person, will have ample time for interdisciplinary discussion.

To consolidate your learning, we also record all the sessions and make them available for all registered delegates to watch again afterwards.
