The conference will be the perfect opportunity for travel medicine professionals to learn, interact and get inspired.
This year’s Livingstone Lecture, a highlight of the symposium, will be delivered by Professors Sir David and Lady Mary Warrell; world leaders in the management of the neglected tropical diseases, snakebite and rabies respectively.
A host of stellar speakers fresh from the field will be speaking on the following topics, including:
- Ethical Travel – Adrian Ferraro, STC Expeditions and The Bioasis
- Climate and Travel – Marc Shaw, James Cook University, Australia
- Vaccine Injection Technique – Jane Bell and Joanna Lowry
- Cold injury update – Professor Chris Imray, University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire
- Challenges of a cave rescue – Dr Craig Holdstock, University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust
- Cave diving rescue, Tham Luang 2018 – Connor Roe
The Annual General Meeting will take place immediately following the conference. Then, in the evening, conference attendees and their guests are warmly invited to attend the Conference Dinner at the College.
Please join us for a day of education, edification, and enlightenment in the spirit of wandering free.
