Overview

We look forward to welcoming you to this hugely popular, always sold out event.  This year’s programme will offer comprehensive updates on key contemporary topics and will provide a practical approach to the management of frequently encountered clinical scenarios.  We will welcome national and international experts, who will present reviews of the latest evidence shaping the rapidly changing landscape of cardiovascular medicine.

As in previous years, this year’s conference will include keynote lectures, interactive case-based discussions, and poster presentations.

This years Keynote lecture will be delivered by Eric Topol.

Eric Jeffrey Topol is an American cardiologist, scientist, and author. He is the founder and director of the Scripps Research Translational Institute, a professor of Molecular Medicine, and a senior consultant at the Division of Cardiovascular Diseases at Scripps Clinic in La Jolla, California.

As a researcher, Topol has published over 1,200 peer-reviewed articles, with more than 310,000 citations, h-index 235, elected to the National Academy of Medicine, and is one of the top 10 most cited researchers in medicine.

We’re delighted to offer this conference again in a hybrid format. You can join us in College to meet with speakers, chairs and colleagues, or, if you are unable to make it to Glasgow for the conference, you can join us online.

This program will be of interest to:

  • Consultant physicians, trainees and SAS doctors
  • AHPs with an interest in cardiology
  • Cardiovascular clinical and academic researchers
  • Board SMT and executives
  • Government strategists and planners
