This programme is an established three-part mentor training course open to all interested in taking on a mentoring role.
Overview
The Mentorship Programme is an established in-person three-part course open to all interested in taking on a mentoring role in their workplace, or who already have mentoring responsibilities and would like to improve their practice.
In their most recent 'good medical practice guidance', the GMC promote mentoring as part of continuous professional development and good leadership practice. If you already are a mentor, it highlights the requirement of keeping your skills up to date and undertaking appropriate training.
Each day is mandatory and will take place on 30 April, 28 May and 11 June at the College in Glasgow.

By attending this course, you’ll be able to:
- Enhance your mentoring relationships by developing learning based on the Egan Model
- Broaden your mentoring skills and diversify your professional network
- Increase your confidence in mentoring through workshops and group sessions

Claiming your CPD
This course offers 18 CPD for everyone who attends. This can be claimed via your College account. CPD points will be available for up to one month after the course. Where the course has been recorded, these sessions will also be available. If you have any questions about claiming your CPD points, our Education team are happy to help.
