Overview

NHS Education for Scotland (NES) and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Glasgow have jointly established the Ongoing Active Support for IMGs in Scotland (OASIS) Programme.

The programme has been organised to address the ongoing educational needs for international medical graduates (IMGs) and to help IMG trainees overcome some of the challenges that they face as they transition into living and working in Scotland.

The session running on Monday 29th April will focus on "Communication Skills".

Speakers:

Cathy explains more about the event in the video below:

Those that have worked with Cathy report increased self-confidence, improved customer satisfaction, reduced stress, a more harmonized workplace and many business benefits, simply from learning a few new skills. These potential benefits are highly relevant for those working in the Scottish NHS, particularly those seeking to improve their communication and language skills.
