The OASIS (Ongoing Active Support for IMGs in Scotland) Programme aims to address the ongoing educational needs for International Medical Graduates based in Scotland.
Overview
NHS Education for Scotland (NES) and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Glasgow have jointly established the Ongoing Active Support for IMGs in Scotland (OASIS) Programme.
The programme has been organised to address the ongoing educational needs for international medical graduates (IMGs) and to help IMG trainees overcome some of the challenges that they face as they transition into living and working in Scotland.
The session running on Wednesday 14th June will be an introduction to Scottish Culture and Language through storytelling and poetry.
Speakers:
- Simon Lamb is a poet, performer and storyteller. He lives in Ayrshire, where he is the Scriever, the writer-in-residence at the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum, 2022-25.
