Overview

09:05 - 16:40 GMT

We are delighted to announce our Palliative Care Conference 2022.  Focusing on the challenges presented in end of life care across different specialties, this one-day, hybrid conference will feature keynote lectures, up to date presentations, case-based talks, panel discussions and poster presentations.

Throughout the day, a wide variety of topics will be discussed, including end of life care in various settings, how to deal with additional complications such as addiction as well as post mortems and how to navigate the medico-legal aspects of end of life care.

We are also honoured to welcome Dr Kathryn Mannix as our keynote speakers to this event, well known retired Palliative Medicine doctor, Sunday Times bestselling author and public campaigner to address the widespread misunderstanding about dying.

Delegates can opt to attend either face to face or online and the programme will be of interest to consultants, trainees of all grades, specialist nurses and allied healthcare professionals who specialise in:

  • Palliative Medicine
  • Acute Internal Medicine
  • Intensive Care
  • Emergency Medicine
  • Geriatric Medicine
  • General Practice
