Overview

Celebrating its tenth year, Laura Short and Andrew McGregor invite you to join them for our annual Scottish Orthodontic Conference.


This one-day hybrid event will welcome both face-to-face and virtual delegates and provide updates on current practice and contemporary topics.  With a mix of engaging speakers, clinical pearls and panel sessions, the Conference will be of interest to those based in both primary and secondary care and is intended to engage the whole orthodontic team and those with an interest in orthodontics.

 

Sessions will include:

    • Aligners
    • Lower incisor extraction 
    • Child protection update
    • Periodontics

    • Orthodontic therapists
    • Orthodontic nurses
    • Anyone with an interest in orthodontics

 

The 2025 conference is hybrid welcoming both face-to-face and virtual delegates. Its suitable for all members of an orthodontic team and those with an interest in orthodontics.

Poster Competition

 

We're now inviting abstracts for the Scottish Orthodontic Conference poster competition.  The top four submissions will be selected for a short oral presentation during the Conference and all other accepted abstracts will be displayed on a digital showcase throughout the event.

Entries for poster competition should relate to case report, audit, quality improvement project or a clinical trial/study.  Full details can be found in the 'Downloads' tab below.

 

 


The closing date for submissions is Monday 9 December 2024 at 4pm

 

Join us at the College or remotely  

 

We are delighted to offer this conference again in a hybrid format. You can join us at the College to meet with speakers, chairs and colleagues, or, if you are unable to make it to Glasgow for the conference, you can join us online.   

 

Those joining the conference at the College in Glasgow will benefit from the comfortable and modern conference facilities at the College, the chance to meet and network with other delegates in person, plus a complimentary lunch and refreshments. Everyone at the conference, attending both online and in person, will have ample time for interdisciplinary discussion.   

   

To consolidate your learning, we also record all the sessions and make them available for all registered delegates to watch again afterwards.
