Overview


This course will give participants a deeper understanding of pulpal and periradicular 
disease and how to treat it with calcium silicate cements when indicated.


By the end of the course participates will:


• develop a deeper understanding of pulpal and periradicular disease
• understand the biological basis for vital pulp therapies
• understand the basis for conservative approach for maintaining pulp vitality
• appreciate the challenges of managing an immature root with a wide-open apex
• gain an understanding of the use of calcium silicate cements
• develop operative skills to be able to perform vital pulp therapies and manipulate 
calcium silicate cements
• develop operative skills to be able to obturate teeth with wide canals using calcium 
silicate cements
