Overview
Vital Pulp Therapy and Management of the Open Apex is an in-person course that will give you a practical understanding of pulpal and periradicular diseases. This course will help you to develop your operative skills in a hands-on workshop.
By attending this course, you’ll be able to:

Develop skills to perform vital pulp therapies and handle calcium silicate cements

Explore the biological basis of vital pulp therapies

Learn the principles of a conservative approach to maintaining pulp vitality

Recognise the challenges of managing an immature root with a wide-open apex

Understand the use of calcium silicate cements

Build proficiency in obturating wide canals with calcium silicate cements
This course is run by Dr Shalini Kanagasingam, UCLan, Dr Phil Thomson, University of Birmingham Dental School and Dr Mohammad A Samad, Tollcross Dental Care.
